Landscapes: Understanding Distance with Scale and Proportion
In this project, we learned and worked with the ideas of foreground, middle ground, and background. We studied scale and proportion, and how they create distance in a photo. I used the refine edge and the quick selection tool most, because they made it easier to remove items from their original picture. The refine edge tool helped make the pictures blend into the final product more easily, and it definitely helped the picture come together more. The only real issue I consistently faced was lighting. If a subject in a picture wasn't lit in the same way than the rest of the picture, it wouldn't look like it fit. I'm excited about my final product because it's the first photoshop project I've ever made. I've wanted to work with photoshop for a long time, but I never knew anyone who was willing to teach me. I know I have a lot of room for growth, but I like what I started with.
